Wren and Crow is the first book of a projected rhyming series. Books are based loosely on interactions that Candace has had with her daughter, 'Wren'. Wren's love of animals, and her natural curiousity paved the way for a fictional series that is somewhat based on real life interactions. This 4 year long labor of love, is about connection, community and unexpected friendships. It's about remembering what's important, laughing at life's mishaps, and showing kindness when we're given the opportunity.

Candace Thibeault grew up in South Carolina and fell in love with exploring mediums and color at a very young age. She spent summers in high school participating in creative arts programs that would fuel her creative interests. Outside of work, Candace worked as an artist in residence for a charter school, providing therapeutic visual art activities for middle-high school aged students.
