Handmade Artisan Watercolors are created using pigments, micas, binders and preservatives.  These colors are semi permanent.   Some half pans may contain some pigment grit to give added texture when drying. Great for layering and building color. Mixes easily with other colors and has fantastic flow. Depending on the ratio of micas and pigments & our own special recipe of watercolor medium, some paints may contain a sticky texture.  This is because we do not add fillers to our paints. Paints are tested before packaged.  Simply add a tiny bit of water to the paint to loosen the pigment and make it workable.
